Has anyone else looked into the stabbing of the 1-year-old child during the incident on December 10, 1912, where Officer John Shaw tragically lost his life? I can't help but feel a deep sense of sadness thinking about the innocent child caught up in such a violent situation. It’s horrifying to imagine the fear and chaos in that home that night. Was anything ever discovered about how the child was doing afterwards, or if there was lasting impact from being involved in such a traumatic situation? It's hard enough for an adult to process something like that, let alone a baby. My heart goes out to everyone affected by that tragic night in Virden. If anyone has more information or thoughts on this aspect of the case, I'd really appreciate hearing them.
