I've been looking into the Dagon case, and one detail that's often overlooked is their son, Robert Jr. He was just 24 at the time of his parents' deaths, and I can't help but think about what he must have gone through. Losing both parents on the same day is unimaginable. I wonder how much he knew about the circumstances that led to their deaths and whether he had any suspicions. The tricky part with cases this old is the lack of detailed records, but maybe someone has insight into Robert Jr.’s life after 1968. Did he stay in Litchfield, or move away to start over? I hope he found some peace and support during such a difficult time. If anyone has connections to local records or archives, it could be worth digging into. Sometimes even a small piece of new information can shed light on past events.

Has anyone here looked into the background of Elm Lawn Memorial Park where Dolores and Robert were buried? I’ve always been fascinated by how the final resting places of victims might hold clues or context about their lives and deaths. Sometimes the choice of a cemetery hints at a family connection or community ties that aren't immediately obvious. Is there any significance, perhaps, in them being buried there instead of another cemetery in the area? I wonder if this cemetery was chosen because it was close to family members or if it was just a practical decision made at the time. It's such a sad story, and I really feel for their son, Robert Jr. Losing both parents at once must have been indescribably difficult. If anyone has access to historical records or newspapers from that time, maybe there’s an article that gives a bit more insight? Would love to hear your thoughts.
