I’ve been reading a lot about the tragic case of Officers Roger Van Schaik and William Bosak, and something that really stands out to me is how this event must have deeply affected their families and fellow officers. I can’t even imagine the shock and grief their loved ones went through. These officers put their lives on the line every day, and it’s devastating to see such dedication end in such a senseless act of violence. What also struck me is the risk all officers face, often without a second thought. Roger and William were doing their jobs, like any other day, when their lives were suddenly and brutally taken. It's crazy to think how one person’s vendetta can extinguish the lives of those who are committed to serving and protecting the rest of us. Sending thoughts to all those who've been touched by this tragedy. It’s a reminder of the real dangers our officers encounter and the sacrifices they make. It’s crucial that we continue to support their families and remember their service.
