It's puzzling how little attention John's case has gotten over the years. Something that often gets overlooked is the significance of the white car sighting outside the bank. Has anyone looked more into this or identified whether it belonged to someone known to John? Given the smaller community around Pegram, it seems likely someone would have seen or heard something. A lot can hinge on a single detail in these cases – does anyone know if the family or authorities pursued this lead thoroughly, even after the case was reopened? It's so frustrating when crucial clues fade just because they're not pursued right away. Any thoughts or new info from locals?
