I’ve been following the case of Demetrious "Dante" Miller and it’s so overwhelming to think about how deeply this tragedy struck the Decatur community. One element I can’t seem to wrap my head around is the time of the incident—2:15 a.m. It makes me wonder, what were the circumstances leading up to that moment? Was it a targeted attack, or simply being at the wrong place at the wrong time?
Demetrious was so young, just starting his adult life, and it’s truly saddening to imagine how his daughter, Demeshiona, is growing up without her dad. It’s stories like these that remind us of the importance of coming together as a community to support the families left behind, while also pressing for answers. I’d really love to hear any thoughts or insights from those who might be familiar with the area or the case.

Has anyone ever looked into the police reports surrounding Dante's case? Given that it happened at such a significant intersection, I would have expected there to be witnesses or traffic cams that could shed some light on what actually went down that night. It's been years, but it frustrates me to think there could be leads that haven’t been thoroughly followed up. I know his family, especially his mom, Lisa, must be desperate for any kind of resolution. Even if Decatur was quieter back then, it just seems impossible that nobody saw or heard anything.
