I’ve been thinking a lot about Christopher Ramirez's case and how deeply it has impacted his community. The thing that really stands out to me is the lack of witnesses willing to come forward. It must be terrifying to speak up given the potential gang involvement, but I can’t even imagine the helplessness his family must feel without more answers. The silence around this case echoes the wider issue of community fear when it comes to these violent situations. It's hard to see how healing can begin for his family and neighbors when there’s no resolution, no one held accountable. It’s beyond frustrating, and my heart goes out to Christopher's loved ones, still waiting for justice all these years later.
