I’ve been following Willie Buie’s case for years now, and I still can’t wrap my head around why no one's been caught. It’s truly upsetting how such a vibrant young life was cut short and his family still has zero answers. I’ve read that the alley where he was shot is in a notoriously tough area, and I guess that might be why people are reluctant to speak up. But it’s so crucial for the community to break this silence for Willie’s sake and for the safety of everyone living there. I really hope someone finds the courage to come forward with information; his family deserves closure, and his killer needs to be held accountable. My thoughts are with his loved ones.

Has anyone else been struck by the lack of surveillance footage in Willie Buie's case? It seems like so many parts of Chicago have cameras recording every corner, especially in areas known for higher crime rates. Yet, for some reason, in this instance, there seems to be nothing helpful. It's frustrating because it feels like with better tech or more coverage, there might’ve been a good chance to catch something useful, even if the alley itself was out of sight. It's gut-wrenching to think of what his family is going through, knowing there are possible answers hovering just out of reach. With how quickly tech is improving, hopefully more cameras or better ways to check these cases become available. My heart really goes out to Willie’s loved ones, and I hope they eventually get the closure they deserve.
