I've been thinking a lot about Kendra's case and was really struck by the community's response after the tragedy, especially around the support for her family. It seems like Lake Creek Baptist Church did an incredible job of rallying around her loved ones in such a difficult time. I’ve read that they organized not only the service but also offered ongoing support to help her children and grandchildren navigate through their grief. It's so moving to see how a community can come together to support one another and shows the importance of having a strong support system when the worst happens. I've been thinking a lot about Kendra's relationship with her church community.
