Has anyone heard about the vigil Herman's family held last month? I wasn't able to attend, but I read online that it was a really moving event. It's uplifting to see the community come together in solidarity, even as they mourn. I can only imagine how difficult this has been for them, having to relive the pain every day Herman's murder remains unsolved. It's infuriating that no one has come forward with information, but I hope the family's perseverance pays off soon. Their strength is truly inspiring, and I pray they find the peace and answers they so desperately need. If you're in the area and hear anything, please consider reaching out to the authorities or attending one of these rallies. Each gesture counts.
It's been over nine years since Herman Stewart Jr. was senselessly taken from us, and it still boggles my mind how this case hasn't seen any real breakthrough. What actually bothers me the most is the lack of witnesses coming forward. I imagine there are people out there who have info, no matter how small, that could help solve this case. I understand the fear that might stop someone from speaking up, but keeping silent only lets this cycle of violence continue. Herman deserves justice, and his family deserves answers.
