Has anyone else noticed how often people go missing around border towns like McAllen? Roman Collado Hernandez is another case that’s been on my mind. I just can’t shake the feeling that maybe his disappearance is linked to something larger going on, given the location. We often hear how these areas face unique challenges. Whether it’s human trafficking, cartel-related activities, or something else entirely, it makes you wonder how many other cases might be connected. Has anyone come across similar patterns or maybe knows of other cases in that area? It's frustrating how little info we have, but I guess that's why it's considered cold. Just trying to see if there's more to this than meets the eye.
Does anyone remember any local news coverage about Roman Collado Hernandez from back when he first went missing in 2014? I feel like media attention can really make a difference in these cases, but I haven’t been able to find much information online about how his case was covered at the time. Maybe there were some smaller, local outlets that picked it up? Sometimes those initial reports hold key details that can lead to new insights or jog someone's memory. If anyone has access to old newspapers or knows how to find archived TV news footage from McAllen around that time, it could be valuable. Let's keep discussing and see if we can piece together anything new!
