I've been following the case of Charles Harper Jr., and one aspect that’s been on my mind is the role of community support during the investigation. Despite the tragic circumstances, it’s been so moving to see how Harper's family, friends, and neighbors have united to seek justice and bring attention to the violence impacting East St. Louis. It’s a testament to the strong community bonds that they organized vigils and attended court sessions, showing their unwavering support and determination. I truly hope their efforts inspire others in the area to stand together against violence and advocate for safer neighborhoods. Charles's life may have been taken too soon, but the solidarity his case has inspired in the community is both powerful and essential.
