Hey everyone, I recently stumbled upon the case of Damien Bryant, and it's been weighing on my mind ever since. I can't stop thinking about the trauma his family must have gone through after losing him so suddenly and senselessly. What I find especially troubling is the lack of cooperation from the community that hindered the police investigation. It's so frustrating to think that fear or distrust could stand in the way of finding justice for Damien. What can communities do to encourage more people to come forward in situations like this? It's clear that a change needs to happen so no more families have to endure this kind of pain. Has anyone here been involved in community initiatives aimed at increasing cooperation in solving crimes? It seems like there needs to be a way to bridge the gap between citizens and law enforcement for cases like Damien's to be resolved. Would love to hear your thoughts or any experiences you've had.
