Hey everyone, I've been diving deep into Maurice Threlkeld's case, and something is really puzzling me. Why did it take nearly five months for anyone to report him missing? Given that he was relatively well-known in his neighborhood, you would think someone would have noticed his absence sooner. Was he living alone, or could there have been a communication breakdown with family or friends? If anyone connected or familiar with Chicago or this case might know about his social circle or living situation during that time, it would be great to hear your thoughts. Any insights could be valuable, especially since the police don't seem to have much to go on. - CuriousMind87

Hi everyone, I've been following Maurice Threlkeld's case and something that's been sticking out to me is the delay in reporting him missing. It's been over 6 months after he was last seen in Chicago before anyone seems to have reported it. Does anyone else find this odd or have any insight into why there might have been such a long gap? Could it be possible that people thought he had left intentionally, or maybe there were some issues with his communication being sporadic? Whatever the reason, it feels like such a missed opportunity in the early investigation stages. Any thoughts or theories on why that delay happened or what might have been going on in his personal life that could explain it?
