I’ve been thinking a lot about the community's response to Peter Costello’s death. I didn’t know Peter personally, but seeing how people came together for his vigil was really touching. It seemed like more than just mourning—it was a united front of support for his family and friends. It’s moments like these that remind you how connected we all are, even in big cities like Chicago. It's tragic that it sometimes takes an unimaginable loss to bring us together, but I hope the love shown that night can somehow translate into lasting change. Does anyone else remember attending or have thoughts on how we can keep that momentum going to prevent future tragedies?
