Has anyone else considered the possibility that Sonia and Fernando might have taken the kids back to their roots in Guatemala and not Mexico like some authorities suggest? With Sonia’s connection there and the fact that family might be more willing to help her hide out, it seems plausible. It’s devastating to think about how easy it might be to disappear across international borders. I'm curious if Guadalajaran networks or community tips in regions of Guatemala were ever explored thoroughly. Does anyone have any more insight or updates from the area? The lack of new leads is frustrating, and I can't stop thinking about these girls and if they're safe.
