I’ve been following the case of Tariq Purnell and Keon Kelly and can’t stop thinking about the impact such violence has on a community. It's been nearly nine years, and the lack of resolution must be incredibly tough for the families. Tariq's sister described him so lovingly—as someone who adored his nieces and stayed out of trouble. It's hard to fathom the loss of someone just beginning their life. When things like this happen, it leaves a scar on everyone involved—friends, family, neighbors, and even those of us following from a distance. I keep hoping that someone remembers something, even the smallest detail, that could help the investigation move forward. It's just devastating that so much time has passed without answers. It's important for the community to keep these stories alive and support each other in the search for truth and closure. Sending strength to Tariq and Keon's families.
