Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Leroy Carvalho and how his murder has impacted those who loved him. It's so important to remember the community that surrounded him. I recently came across some stories from neighbors and friends who knew him as more than just another statistic. He was a dedicated father who loved spending weekends in the park with his son. I can’t shake the image of a neighborhood gathering for a birthday party turning into a scene of tragedy in just an instant. It's gut-wrenching. A birthday should be a time for celebration, but for Leroy's family, it has become a poignant reminder of their loss. I've also heard his aunt has persisted in her advocacy for peace, despite enduring so much personal pain. Her strength to continue fighting for change is truly admirable. I really pray that these stories will keep the conversation going and encourage anyone who might have information to step forward.
