I’ve been following the Nikko Ray Smith case closely, and something that stands out to me is the sheer persistence and resilience shown by his family and friends throughout the trials. It's amazing how they managed to stay strong despite everything – the mistrials, the overturned convictions, and finally, a guilty verdict again. It must have been incredibly tough to keep reliving their loss over and over, especially with the legal back-and-forth. I can't even imagine what it’s like to fight so hard for the justice of a loved one while dealing with such a personal tragedy. Their determination in seeking justice for Nikko is truly moving. Keeping them in my thoughts as sentencing approaches.
