I’ve been following the Dena Seymour case closely, and something that’s been bothering me is how the court system handled Leo Amin’s previous offenses. How was this guy able to walk free despite having such a violent history and multiple protection orders against him? It just seems like there were so many red flags that got ignored. I feel terrible for Dena and her family because it seems like this tragedy might have been preventable if the system worked properly. Does anyone know if there have been any changes or reforms in response to cases like this to prevent similar situations from happening in the future? It would be good to know that Dena’s death isn’t completely in vain and could lead to some sort of positive change. Sending love to her friends and family.
