I was thinking about Andrew Love's case again today and how frustrating it must be for his family to still be waiting for answers. One thing I keep coming back to is the angle around surveillance footage. Did anyone else wonder whether there might be any unreleased footage that could show more about what happened that night? Given that it took place in an apartment building, I’d assume there’d be more cameras around, maybe even in the hallways or entrances. I hope the investigators are double-checking whatever footage they have or could find more from surrounding areas. It's just so tough to grasp how a young man like Andrew, with seemingly no enemies, could end up like this. Keeping his loved ones in my thoughts, and praying for a breakthrough in this case soon.
Hey all, I came across an old article about Andrew Love’s case and it got me thinking. One aspect that doesn’t seem to get as much attention is the role of the building security during the time of the murder. It’s mentioned that his family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the building management, claiming inadequate security.
From what I’ve read and from living in Chicago myself, many apartment buildings don’t always have the best security measures, especially in certain neighborhoods. Was there any info on whether the building had working security cameras or an intercom system that night? Seems like something crucial that could have impacted how things played out or at least helped in getting answers quickly. It's tragic enough dealing with the loss of a loved one, but not feeling safe in your own home adds another layer of grief for the family.
Hoping with tech advancements or just sheer determination, something surfaces soon to help Andrew’s loved ones find some peace. Does anyone have thoughts on this or know more details about the building security situation?
