Has anyone else been following the Henry Morales Mendoza case from 2015? I recently stumbled upon some info about missing migrants along the U.S.-Mexico border and remembered Henry. It got me thinking about the conditions involved in these border crossings. The Rio Grande's currents can be pretty unpredictable, especially around June. I wonder if that made things more difficult for Henry when he was trying to cross. Also, since it's been a few years now, do we have any insight into how often these incidents occur and what measures are being taken to improve safety for those attempting to cross? I hope authorities are still active on this case and trying to prevent similar tragedies. If anyone has more info on what might be happening behind the scenes, please share.

Has anyone been following the case of Henry Morales Mendoza? I was reading up on his disappearance, and something struck me about the terrain around McAllen. That area is notoriously rough, and I wonder if there's been any effort to search along the riverbanks or nearby land. With the summer heat in Texas, it must have been a difficult journey, even before considering the border crossing itself. I know it's a long shot, but maybe clues could still be out there. This kind of terrain shouldn't be underestimated, especially when local wildlife and rapid changes in the weather could affect potential evidence. Anyone with knowledge of border conditions, what do you think? Could this factor have impacted the search efforts?

Hey everyone, I came across Henry Morales Mendoza's case and something's really bothering me about the communication aspect. Since he had informed someone that he planned to cross the river soon, I'm wondering why there wasn’t any follow-up message? Did he even have a plan for maintaining communication, like a burner phone or a contact point on the U.S. side? If anyone has insights about how communication is usually handled by folks in his situation, it could help us understand potential points of breakdown in this case. Maybe someone dropped the ball on checking in before he attempted crossing, or there were unforeseen circumstances. Anyway, I'd love to hear thoughts or experiences if you’ve got them.
