Hey everyone, I've been following Victor Alvarado's case closely and wanted to bring up something that's been troubling me. I just read about how his family is advocating for stronger gun violence prevention measures in Chicago. It’s hard to imagine what they’re going through, but their strength to push for change is truly inspiring. This city has dealt with so much, and it's heartbreaking to see innocent people like Victor caught up in such senseless violence. Despite the successful conviction of his killers, I keep wondering what more can be done to help families like Victor's. How can communities better support them? And how can we address the root causes of this violence? It's going to take more than police work; we need comprehensive change.
