It deeply saddens me to think about Aaron Bennett's family and friends and what they must be going through. A young life taken so suddenly is hard to comprehend. I’ve been following the case closely, and one thing that’s been on my mind is the impact of the bystanders who witnessed the altercation. I often wonder how being a witness to something so terrible affects someone. The fear of speaking up out of concern for personal safety must be incredibly overwhelming.
