It's truly hard to come to terms with the loss of Ed "Bad Boy" Brown. I was always impressed by how he managed to channel the adversity he faced in life into something positive, focusing on his boxing career and staying clear of the streets. It’s devastating not just for his family and close friends, but also for the community that saw him as a beacon of hope. What's more frustrating is the seeming lack of progress in the investigation. It makes you think about all the talent and potential that get stolen away by these violent acts, leaving families shattered. I sincerely hope someone with information steps up so that Ed's family can find some semblance of peace. It’s a reminder of the urgent need for more comprehensive efforts to address violence in our communities.
