Has anyone else been following the case of Anthony Scott in Melrose Park? I'm still trying to wrap my head around how a drug-related incident escalated to such violence, especially in the middle of the day. It's truly disturbing to think that Anthony, who seemed to be such a vibrant young man with so much ahead of him, became a victim of this tragedy. What stands out to me is the impact on his young son. Growing up without a father due to such senseless violence is unimaginable. I can't help but wonder what changes could prevent these incidents from happening in the first place. Are there community programs or interventions that could offer a lifeline before things escalate to this point? My heart goes out to Anthony's family as they process this immense loss while advocating for change. They deserve justice and so much more.

I can't stop thinking about the innocent life affected by this tragedy. Anthony Scott’s son, little Anthony, was only six months old when his dad was taken from him. Growing up without your father is incredibly tough, especially knowing your parent was taken from you in such a sudden and violent way. It’s crucial that as a community, we surround his family with support to keep the memory of his dad alive for him. Hopefully, there are programs and resources available for children who experience this kind of loss, so they don’t face the same cycle of violence. Sending love to his family and all who knew him.✨
