I've been following Armani Pickett's case ever since I heard about the brutal events of January 21, 2017, and something crossed my mind recently. What continues to baffle me is the lack of CCTV footage or video evidence to help solve this crime. Humboldt Park is not a small area, but given that it's in Chicago, I'd assume there are cameras at intersections or even private security footage from nearby homes or businesses. Did anyone hear if police ever managed to review such videos, or were there technological limitations back in 2017 that hindered the investigation? It's devastating to think that the case might remain unsolved despite having some of the tools and technology that could potentially identify Armani's killer. I just hope that with new developments, maybe someone will remember something or that some previously overlooked evidence might surface. It makes my heart go out to his family—they deserve answers and some semblance of peace.
