Did anyone else hear about Howard Blankenship's case in Joliet, IL? I came across it, and it's just so upsetting to learn about his story. What stands out to me is how resilient Howard seemed to be. Surviving a shooting once and continuing to have that positive impact on those around him really speaks volumes about his strength.
I can't imagine the pain his family and friends are going through, especially knowing that justice still hasn't been served. It's perplexing that no arrests have been made yet, especially with the violent nature of the attack and the fact that this happened in an area that seems like it should have had more witnesses or surveillance. Does anyone have more thoughts on why there's such a lack of leads? It feels like someone out there must know something. Keeping Howard's loved ones in my thoughts and hoping they find the answers they deserve soon.
I've been following Howard Blankenship's case, and one detail that really sticks with me is the location of the shooting. Ruby and Center streets, from what I understand, is a busy area with that barbershop nearby. It's hard to believe that no solid leads have been developed even with potential witnesses in the vicinity. It makes me wonder if there's a deeper issue with people being too afraid to come forward or if there's something more complex happening behind the scenes. My heart goes out to Howard's family and friends; not knowing why this happened or who is responsible must be incredibly difficult. I hope the investigation eventually brings some answers and justice for Howard.
