The fear of retaliation is a powerful force that silences many, but it's essential to remember the strength in unity. If more witnesses felt safe to come forward, it might help bring the truth to light. I wonder if there could be some way for the city to offer more protection or incentives for witnesses. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but imagine if we could create an environment where people felt empowered to stand together against violence. It's just saddening that the cycle of fear continues to protect those who harm rather than those who need healing. My thoughts are with Davion's loved ones; they deserve answers and peace.
