I came across something interesting while looking into Christopher Chico’s case. There was a local community meeting a few weeks after his death where several residents voiced concerns about the lack of street lighting in the area where the shooting happened. Some folks felt that poor lighting might have contributed to the difficulty in identifying suspects or witnesses. It's so frustrating to think that something as simple as proper lighting might have made a difference, though of course, it's never that straightforward. My heart goes out to his family and friends—they deserve answers and justice. I hope that community efforts lead to improvements not just for the safety of that neighborhood, but also for getting more witnesses to come forward if they know anything. Has anyone else heard about any changes in that area since then?
