I can't get over how senseless this tragedy is. Irving Estrada was just a kid enjoying a game of basketball with his friends—a completely innocent activity that should never have turned into this nightmare. What's really disturbing is how quickly things escalated over something as minute as a smirk. It just makes you think about how fragile life can be when bad decisions mix with gang pressure. My heart goes out to Irving's family and friends, especially his mom. No parent should have to bury their child, and I can’t even begin to imagine the depth of her sorrow.
