I've been following Monticello Scott's case, and something that's really struck me is the apparent lack of leads despite initial interviews and surveillance footage review. It's truly upsetting that even with resources, the investigation seems stuck. It makes you wonder what more can be done to encourage people to speak up, especially when fear of retaliation is so prevalent. I can't imagine the pain Monticello's family must be going through, not just dealing with his loss but also the added frustration of not having answers. It reminds us of the human cost behind these statistics we often hear about. I hope there's a breakthrough soon, and that his family eventually finds the justice and closure they deserve. Does anyone know if there have been any community efforts to support the investigation or help reduce fear around coming forward with information?
