I’ve been following the tragic case of Omar Roman and Rafael Arevalo, and can’t stop thinking about the role video games might have played in Omar's life as a source of comfort and joy. I can’t imagine what his family is going through, especially his nephew Aiden, who must have looked up to him. The loss of someone who brought joy to those around him in everyday activities is an unimaginable sorrow. As we reflect on Omar’s life, it's essential to remember how important it is to cherish and share such simple joys with our loved ones, preserving their memory beyond the tragedy.
