I’m really disturbed by the details of Jim Skinner’s case, especially the fact that his own son, Ryan, had to discover him like that. It must have been incredibly traumatic and something he'll carry with him forever. It’s tragic enough to lose a parent, but in such a brutal way and at the hands of someone they possibly knew? That’s unimaginable. I wonder if there were any signs leading up to this or any prior conflict with David Bright. Did Ryan notice anything unusual between his dad and Bright before this happened? My heart goes out to the Skinner family while they navigate the aftermath of such a senseless loss. I hope they find some measure of peace even amidst such a painful situation.

Hey everyone, just been reading up on the Jim Skinner case and wanted to touch upon something that really struck me. It's the role of technology in solving this terrible crime. I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for Jim's family to go through this ordeal, but it's notable how phone records and digital evidence played a crucial part in piecing everything together. The fact that authorities could trace those calls and pinpoint David Bright's cell location is mind-blowing, and honestly, it highlights how much technology has changed the landscape of investigations today. I hope this brings some solace to Jim's loved ones, knowing there was enough evidence to get justice for him. It's truly awful what happened, but I’m thankful for the diligent work that helped solve the case. Thoughts with the family ?
