I've been following the Hubert Eddings case, and what really puzzles me is the lack of media attention. It's like he just slipped through the cracks. With so many homicides in Chicago during 2018, I understand resources were stretched, but it seems like his story never even made it past the local news. It's heartbreaking to think that a life can be lost and forgotten so quickly. I can't help but wonder if there were any community efforts to bring attention to his case, like candlelight vigils or rallies. Often, these acts can at least keep the spirit alive and remind authorities that people care and demand answers. If anyone knows of any such efforts or even local groups pushing for justice, it would be great to learn more. His family deserves the closure that many others have received.
