I've been following the Cary Silverstein case and something caught my attention—his love for hosting gatherings. I wonder if someone at that birthday party had ulterior motives from the start or if it truly was a spur-of-the-moment escalation. It's hard to imagine what could lead people to such violence at a place where they probably laughed and enjoyed each other's company just moments before. The West Rogers Park neighborhood seems quiet and peaceful, making it even more baffling how such a brutal crime could unfold in that setting. Does anyone else think that someone might have targeted Cary because of his open-door policy for guests? Or could it have been someone he trusted deeply? The whole thing is incredibly unsettling.

Has anyone else been following the Cary Silverstein case? I've been thinking about the lack of evidence recovery concerning his remains. It's so troubling that despite the confessions and arrests, they still haven't found Cary's body. With the passing of almost eight years since his disappearance, you’d think there would have been some kind of break in locating him. Does anyone know if there’s been any recent searches or updates from law enforcement about plans to continue searching? It seems odd that with those confessions, they’re still coming up empty. It must be so difficult for his family not having closure all this time. Would love to hear if anyone has any thoughts or updates on this part of the investigation.

It's so unsettling that Cary's remains have never been found despite confessions and arrests. Even with multiple people involved and the charges against them, you'd think by now there would be some breakthrough in finding him. It's almost like he disappeared into thin air after such a violent and public altercation. I can't imagine the frustration his family must feel, knowing there's still that lack of closure. Has anyone heard if there's been any movement on searching the dumpsters or landfills where they might have disposed of him? It seems like such a crucial piece of the puzzle that's still missing.
