I've been researching some old cases and came across the tragic murder of John McNeil Daughtry, and it's really got me thinking about the impact on his loved ones and the community. While the larger conversation often revolves around crime rates, it's crucial to remember the individuals behind these statistics. Each of these cases leaves a void in many lives. One aspect that stands out to me is the struggle families face when there are no clear answers or suspects. John’s family, like so many others, has had to carry on without closure, which must be incredibly difficult. It's a reminder of how the justice system sometimes falls short in providing resolutions. I wonder what, if anything, has changed in Baltimore to better support these families in recent years?
