In the spring of 2007, a 25-year-old Black male named John Daughtry became a victim of the violence that plagued the streets of Baltimore. On the evening of Monday, April 9th, Daughtry was shot in the chest at an unknown location. Despite his grave injury, he managed to make his way back to his home in the 100 block of South Morley Street.
