I’ve been reading about Van Maurice Johnson’s case, and it’s just so difficult to process how this happened to him and his family. I came across his memorial on Find A Grave, and it’s clear how deeply he was loved by those closest to him. It’s tragic that they still don’t have the closure they need and deserve. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain and frustration they must feel every single day waiting for answers that seem so elusive. What's even more unsettling is the number of unsolved cases in Baltimore during that time. It's almost like the city was going through something really dark, and families like Van’s were caught in the middle, left with more questions than answers. I just hope someone, somewhere, knows something that can finally bring some clarity and justice to his loved ones. If anyone reading this has any information, please reach out to the authorities. It's the least we can do for Van and his family.
