Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the wave of violence that escalated around the time Pierre was taken from us. It’s so troubling that in a span of just 36 hours, six children were caught in such tragic circumstances. Things like this should never happen, especially when we’re talking about kids who have so much ahead of them. What I’m curious about is the broader pattern—or if there is one—to these events. It seems like a heightened level of violence in a very short timeframe. Does anyone know if there were any specific gang activities or other tensions in the South Shore area at that time that could have sparked such chaos? It’s heartbreaking to think that a young, promising teenager like Li'l P could have been caught in the crossfire of something bigger that was happening in the neighborhood. My thoughts are with his family and friends. Hopefully, shining a light on the situation gives some insight into what needs to change so future generations aren’t falling victim to the same fate.

I was reading about Pierre Williams, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. It's been over five years, and still, no justice. I can't even begin to imagine what they're going through without any closure. I mean, how do we live in a world where a 15-year-old can be taken so violently, and then it feels like his case just fades into the background? It seems like the investigation hit a dead end, but I have to wonder, is there something more that could be done? Is it a lack of resources or perhaps witnesses too scared to come forward? It’s so frustrating knowing that his loved ones have to live with the absence and the unanswered questions. If anyone knows more about what can be done to support families like Pierre’s, please share. Their pain deserves our attention and action.
