It's truly unsettling to hear about the murder of Cordell Hull and the lingering questions that surround his tragic death. I was thinking about the fact that no suspects or arrests have been made in his case, even though the shooting happened in such a public space. Given it occurred near a Shell gas station and a McDonald's, you'd think there would be security cameras that might have captured something useful.
I can't help but wonder if there were witnesses around at that hour, maybe stopping for a late meal or refueling. Why hasn't there been more public information about potential witnesses? Could it be that people are too afraid to come forward? It’s just so crucial for community members to speak up, no matter how small the detail might seem. Here's hoping someone finds the courage to step forward so that Cordell’s family can find some sense of justice and closure. This case is a stark reminder of the senseless violence many communities face and why it's so important to continue the conversation about gun violence prevention.
I can't stop thinking about the tragic loss of Cordell Hull. Such a senseless act of violence. I grew up not far from Calumet Park, and that intersection at 127th and Marshfield is pretty busy, especially with the Shell and McDonald’s right there. It’s hard to imagine how something like this could happen in such a public place without anyone stepping forward immediately. There must have been people around who saw or heard something. It’s vital for anyone with information, no matter how small it might seem, to come forward and help the police. Hull's family deserves answers and justice, and the community has a part to play in finding them. Sending love and strength to Cordell's loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. Let’s unite as a community to bring some peace to them and hopefully prevent further tragedies.
