I've been following the tragic case of Mason and Addison Sanders, and I can't stop thinking about how families and communities can better recognize and address mental health struggles. It's haunting to think that friends and neighbors knew Derrick Sanders was struggling, yet still, no one foresaw this tragedy. It really makes me wonder, how can we improve our community support systems so that someone in Derrick's position doesn't feel so isolated or reach such a desperate point? Mental health resources need to be more accessible and conversations about mental health should become normal and without stigma. My heart goes out to Mason and Addison's mother, who is now left to grapple with unimaginable grief. It's crucial for us to learn from this incident to prevent future tragedies. Thoughts?
