Has anyone else been following the details of Shane Colella's case involving Frank Farella? I'm thinking a lot about the role that surveillance footage played in pinning down Farella's presence near Shane's house. It makes you wonder how much different things might be if we didn’t have so many cameras everywhere. On one hand, it's unsettling to feel like Big Brother is watching, but in situations like this, isn't it a relief that there's video evidence to hold people accountable? It's an eerie comfort knowing that Shane's family might have gotten some closure from this. It's tough enough losing someone, much less under these circumstances. My heart goes out to his loved ones during this difficult time.
