I've been thinking about the details that came out about the vehicle involved in Peter Rim's tragic murder on that terrible October day. The surveillance footage released shows a Nissan Rogue trailing Peter's car for several blocks before the shooting happened. It makes me wonder if this points to some level of premeditation. Was the shooter actively targeting Peter, or was it some awful coincidence or mistaken identity?
I also can't help but think about the unexplained comment the assailant made before opening fire. Since Peter had hearing loss, there’s a chance he didn't hear or understand what was said, but what might that comment have revealed if someone else had been there to hear it? It’s so frustrating that such random acts of violence remain unsolved, leaving Peter's family and friends without the closure they desperately need.
If anyone knows anything about incidents with similar patterns or anything about that Nissan Rogue, it could really help bring some answers.
