I keep thinking about Nathan's brother and what he must be going through. Being there during such a traumatic event and losing his brother in that brutal way is unimaginable. It's hard to wrap my head around how someone could plan something so cold—just for $75. It's heartening to see the community rallying around Nathan's family, but I'm sure nothing can fill the void of losing him. I hope Nathan's brother is getting the support and care he needs after experiencing something so devastating. It seems like he showed a lot of courage in the courtroom by testifying about that night, and I hope it brought a small measure of justice for Nathan. Does anyone know if there are any organizations or groups in Joliet helping people affected by such violent crimes? Trying to find ways to support families and stop these senseless acts from happening again.
