I've been following the case of Thomas Jamal Harris, and I can’t stop thinking about the toll this kind of tragedy takes on the community. I really feel for Harris’s loved ones – they deserve answers and closure. What’s mind-boggling is that no suspects have been identified yet, despite surveillance footage and witness accounts. It must be incredibly frustrating for the family knowing there’s video, yet still no leads. It raises questions about what more can be done to support the police in these investigations. Maybe more community involvement or resources could help, but it’s clear something needs to change. It's so worrying that this incident also involved a 14-year-old in critical condition. The city really needs to come together to protect our youth and prevent future tragedies like this one.
