I was digging into the Marshall Priestley case again, and something that stood out to me was his reputation around Cross Lanes. It seemed like everyone knew Marshall, and he was always described as friendly and reliable. With that in mind, it's hard to imagine how no one saw anything significant on the day he disappeared. Given his strong community ties, one would think that someone might have noticed if anything seemed off or if there was something unusual about his behavior or movements that day. Could it be that people are holding back information, even if unintentionally, because they didn't realize its significance? I wonder if revisiting community interviews with this perspective might help reveal details missed initially. Anyone from Cross Lanes who might have been around back then remember anything odd? I hope his family finds some peace soon.
