I’ve been thinking a lot about the emergency response during the tragic event at Henry Pratt. It’s truly commendable how those officers rushed into danger to protect others, suffering injuries in the process. It speaks volumes about their bravery and dedication. But I can’t help but feel for the families who were left with so many questions. How do we ensure a faster and perhaps more preventative action in similar situations? The shooting not only took the lives of dedicated individuals like Josh Pinkard but also scarred so many emotionally. Sending strength to the families as they navigate these legal battles and cope with their loss. There's some comfort, I hope, in knowing their tragedy has spurred important discussions on security and prevention.
