Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the Clayborn Johnson case, and I can't help but feel so much for his family and friends. From what I gathered, the neighborhood where he was attacked seemed like a close-knit community, which makes this tragedy even tougher to process. It’s unsettling to think about how such violence could erupt in a place where many felt safe, and it's heartbreaking knowing someone lost their life in such a senseless manner.
I’ve also been reading up on how the community was trying to grapple with the surge in violent crime around that time. There seems to have been a real struggle with feeling overlooked by those who should be protecting these neighborhoods. It makes me wonder how the residents coped with that overwhelming atmosphere back then and what changes, if any, have been implemented to ensure safety now.
Just wanted to share my thoughts and see if anyone else has more insights or remembers how the community reacted in the wake of Clayborn's death. How do you all think we can continue to support these neighborhoods and push for change?
