It's been over four years since Andre Lyons was senselessly taken from us, and it still feels surreal. My heart aches for his family, who must live with so many questions unanswered. I find myself wondering about the day it happened. The 7600 block of South Aberdeen St. must now carry such a heavy memory for those who knew him. I can’t imagine the pain of seeing a loved one rushed to the hospital like Christ Medical Center and still losing them. What really sticks with me is the silence around this case. How has no one come forward yet? I truly hope Area South detectives are making progress behind the scenes. It's a shame that it remains a chilling reminder of the wider gun violence issue in Chicago. If anyone reading this has even a small piece of information, maybe it's time to speak up. Andre, like so many others, deserves justice. Keeping his family in my thoughts.

Hey everyone, I just learned about the case of Andre Lyons and I'm feeling for his family and friends right now. I can't imagine the pain of losing someone like that, and in such a sudden, senseless manner. It seems like there’s so much focus on finding justice and answers, but I wonder about the human side of things. How is his family coping with the weight of not knowing who did this to him? It must be so difficult to move on while feeling stuck in this loop of unanswered questions. I hope there are still people out there willing to speak up if they know something, anything that could bring some peace to Andre's loved ones. The community must really want to see some resolution here—not just for Andre, but for anyone else who has been or could be affected by gun violence. Keeping fingers crossed that we see some movement on the case soon.
