Hey everyone, I was digging into Martin Roberts' disappearance and noticed something that got me thinking. It's been noted that Martin was a big fan of hiking in areas like the Blue Ridge Parkway. Given his love for the outdoors, is it possible he decided to go on an impromptu solo hiking trip to clear his mind and something happened out there? I know search teams combed through some of these areas, but it’s such a vast landscape. Has anyone heard if there were ever any searches that used drones or more advanced tech to cover areas that are tough to navigate? Just curious if there might be spots overlooked due to sheer terrain difficulty. Thoughts?

I can’t stop thinking about the Blue Ridge Parkway in Martin's case. As someone who spends a lot of time hiking in those mountains, I find it hard to believe how someone could just vanish without a trace in such a popular area. Does anyone else think there might be spots off the beaten path that haven’t been searched thoroughly? It seems like with all the attention on his love for the outdoors, those areas would be prime candidates for more extensive searches. I know the parkway extends pretty far, but maybe local hikers could help pinpoint lesser-known trails that authorities might have overlooked. It’s frustrating not knowing if we’re missing something right under our noses.
